Our Story

Founded in 2018 by Chef Takeshi Yamamoto, Tsuki no Shizuku was born from a deep reverence for traditional Japanese cuisine and a desire to share the profound beauty of seasonal dining. After 20 years of training in Kyoto's most prestigious kaiseki restaurants, Chef Yamamoto returned to Tokyo to create an intimate space where diners could experience the full depth of omotenashi.

Chef Takeshi Yamamoto

Trained under Master Chef Hiroshi Nakamura at the three-Michelin-starred Kikunoi in Kyoto. Specializes in traditional kaiseki with a focus on bringing out the pure essence of each ingredient. Believes that the chef's role is not to transform ingredients, but to reveal their true nature.
